Belinda King's art week
What a sensational week! we saw all of the artists grow in confidence and style, pushing themselves with the quiet support of Belinda and each other.
For the first few days everyone scattered around Almuña painting shadows, edges, people and views, some frustrated others elated by their progress. When we all decamped to the ancient citadel of Castellar de la Frontera the artists had settled and were producing some wonderful work. After lunch Belinda set the challenge that all there including the non painters had ten minutes to create a left handed piece of work where our pencils could not be taken off the paper nor our eyes from the subject!
With other days out painting the bridge at Ronda and delving deep into the Andaluz countryside one of the great highlights was Paco's paella at our old campsite and the exhibition on the terrace on the final evening.
