Argentina Escorted

A specially selected escorted holiday of discovery, walking, riding and wine tasting through Argentina guided by Alfie Laurence. Alfie is a fluent Spanish speaker whose knowledge of the history and politics of this country combined with his engaging personality add greatly to the enjoyment of this holiday.

The holiday starts in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires where cultures and influences have fused to create a capital of French architecture, Italian style and British roots.

We fly north west to explore the many walkways and tributaries of the Iguazu falls and take lunch in Brazil.

We then travel further west to Salta, the Spanish colonial heartland of Argentina and on towards the Bolivian border staying in Purmamarca and the amazing salinas Grandes. Then on to Cachi where the winds and the sun have sculpted the rock and fashioned incredible multi-coloured mountains.

From Cachi we drive to Cafayate and wine country where high altitude vines produce some of Argentina’s iconic Torrentes white wine.

The holiday ends back in Buenos Aires in the attractive, vibrant area of Palermo.
