Carolyn is an experienced and passionate needlework tutor whose creative approach and warm teaching style have inspired stitchers of all abilities.
With a love of traditional needlepoint techniques combined with a fresh contemporary flair, Carolyn’s courses are both relaxing and deeply rewarding. Her workshops focus on careful craftsmanship, colour, texture, and the joy of creating by hand, while encouraging students to develop confidence in their own artistic style.
Whether you are an experienced embroiderer or a complete beginner, Carolyn creates a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where everyone can learn, experiment, and enjoy the therapeutic pleasure of needlework in the beautiful surroundings of Almuña.
There will be a set project for the 4 days of stitching, with a choice of 3 different colour schemes, using a mixture of different threads, and incorporating a variety of interesting stitches. Canvas, threads and instructions are all included. Alternatively, you may prefer to bring your own stitching along with you and work on that.
The non-needleworker is equally encouraged to join the house party and a programme of walks and expeditions will be included.

The prices are per person in Pounds Sterling. The prices include 5 nights full board and lodging at Almuña, all meals, quality wine with lunch and dinner and all pre-lunch and after-dinner drinks. Also included are the services of the teacher and all supporting staff, transport throughout the holiday, including pick-up and drop-off at Malaga airport, at the designated times.
Not included: The price does not include airfares, travel insurance and staff gratuities or optional extras which can be paid locally, such as golf green fees about €50 – €120+ and riding about €60 for two hours.
